FY25: As indicated by the Iowa Justice Data Warehouse, Easy Access to Iowa Adult Criminal Dispositions, conviction rate trends for the crime category subtypes of alcohol, drug possession, forgery/fraud, OWI, theft, and public order (common lower-level offenses) have experienced a decline in adult convictions in Story County over a ten-year period.  (7/10/25, SS)

FY2021: Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and quarantine, there were fewer arrests during this period which created fewer clients sentenced to probation. There was also a delay in all court hearings during the quarantine so this created a large time lag for cases to be adjudicated and put on probation during this period.
