Story Behind the Curve
Partnering with community organizations for physical activity classes started in January of 2023. The first organization to request these classes was the Meadow Oaks apartments. Since partnering, there has been turn over in the Resident Services Coordinator position which has decreased resident participation rates.
In April of 2023, the Swansboro Senior Services site requested physical activity classes on a monthly basis.
