Story Behind the Curve

This measure is important because the mission of the DVHA Culture Committee is to support and enhance workplace culture through a focus on employee recognition, professional development, and workplace initiatives so that all staff feel supported, included, and valued. 

The goals that we set as a committee are developed through feedback from the employee engagement survey and department leadership. Our aim is to complete all our goals annually. fiscal year we publish our Culture Committee Annual Report. This report details our accomplishments from the past fiscal year, and the goals for the upcoming fiscal year. We also have links to our scorecard measures. Transparency around our goals and initiatives reinforce to staff that their feedback is valuable.  

There was one goal that was not completed during SFY24 and has been added to SFY25 goals. This was because there were funding questions from legal and the business office. Those conversations along with other priorities delayed the completion of this goal. We anticipate this will be completed in SFY25.
