Story Behind the Curve
March of 2024 was the implementation date for the CATCH My Breath program at Northern Middle School. The students that indicated they would remain vape free was 82% of the program participants. This was the baseline rate.
March of 2025 the CATCH My Breath program was facilitated at both Northern and Southern middle schools. More emphasis was place on the addictive nature of nicotine and the harmful effects of vaping. The number of students that indicated that they would remain vape free was 97%.
