This measure used to refer to materials that were sent to the media as news releases but because all of them were translated into Spanish, we have changed to measure to our social media posts, which needs improvement.
We have Spanish accounts on X (formerly Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook) and we will use an aggregate of X and Instagram as our proxy.
Story Behind the Curve
In July, August, and September 2023, we had assistance posting organic Spanish content related to various campaigns (healthy traveling, social media harms). Once those campaigns ended, we struggled to keep up the flow of Spanish content with so many extra DHHS projects through the summer, but have redoubled our efforts starting with vendor assistance in September 2024 with the WIC event promotion and redoubling our translation efforts in October 2024.
