Story Behind the Curve
The Bladen County Health Department clinic nurses including CMHRP, Maternity, Family Planning, and STI screen individuals for substance use disorder. Additionally, the Bladen County Division of Social Services including Adult Protective Services and Child Protective Services screen individuals for substance use disorder. The individuals that are screened positive for substance use are referred to the In-House Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. Individuals have the right to refuse the referral.
