Story Behind the Curve

Safe Sleep measures and practices are essential to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and that prevent infant sleep-related deaths such as accidental asphyxiation and suffocation.

Reducing Infant Mortality in Communities (RIMC) provides information and statistics to pregnant mothers on the ways to reduce risk when following safe sleep measures. The survey after 3-months postpartum helps gather information on participants who are still practicing safe sleep measures.
