Story Behind the Curve
RATA tests occur annually. There are 13 continuous emission monitors located in Stark County. Each RATA test shall be observed so that it is observed at least once every 4 years.
The target value entered is the number of RATA test observations that are due to occur in order to achieve the every 4 year goal. For FFY2023 and FFY2024, no RATA tests were due to be observed since they all were observed within 3 or less years. However, RATA tests were still observed in order to balance the RATA observation workload over each year.
