Some mobile crisis teams may not have enough staff or funding to respond as quickly, making them harder to rely on. In rural areas, it can be difficult for people to call or feel comfortable having someone come to their home. Some people may also still go straight to the emergency room instead of using mobile crisis, especially if they’ve had trouble getting help from mobile teams in the past.
