This is the number of days it takes OBP to process an appeal from the time we receive all of the information from the applicant to a final determination. We are reevaluating the baseline initially set since we narrowed the scope a little too much and did not include the final determination made by the director.

Health facilities have been doing this process for several years.  We first had our baseline based on this information, but initially it did not include the final determination made by the director.  With this information we set the baseline.  We have since better understood the information to look at and have modified the information we are collecting to be the final determination, which includes a final determination made by the director and may include meeting with the applicant.  This process was just introduced to human services and more formalized for child care in July of 2025.  We are still trying to figure out how to collect this information.
