Story Behind the Curve
The Franklin/Grand Isle Early Intervention (F/GI EI) program continues to see an increase in the number of referrals for children birth to age 3 over the past year. Not only has the volume increased, we have also seen an increase in the complexity of family needs, requiring more time spent in service coordination. Despite this, children enrolled in the F/GI EI program are making good progress in their treatment goals both at transition at age 3 as well as meeting all treatment goals to transition prior to age 3. The team has worked hard to ensure that we are meeting federal and state guidelines so that all children and families have a smooth transition out of EI services.
