The youth-contemplation of suicide performance measure refers to the percent of Dubuque students who responded to the question "In the past 12 months, have you made a plan about how you would kill yourself?" with "yes". From 2002-2012, the percent of youth who contemplated suicide decreased from 9% to 6% with the majority of this change occurring between 2010 and 2012.
