Story Behind the Curve
For the FY18 HFY1 29/29 participants had no indicators of child abuse/neglect findings while enrolled in the program. For FY18 HFY2 27/27 participants had no indicators of child abuse/neglect findings while enrolled in the program.
Partners
Kent Family Center-The programs have joint learning sessions for parents as well as extracurricular activities for their program participants. They also complete joint continuing education trainings.
What Works
Staff continue to educate the families on positive health and safety techniques utilizing the "Growing Great Kids" Curriculum. They complete home visits to observe the youth for any signs of abuse and neglect.

26 of the 31 families with children between 0-5 are without findings. The other 5 were pre-natal enrolled families.
