Story Behind the Curve
Our Story County Pack serve kindergarten through 5th grade. We have had an amazing year of recruitment and are growing our numbers.
Partners
Our Cub Scout partners include our chartering organizations in each community. The partners include the American Legion of Story City, Kiwanis of Nevada, Gilbert Lutheran Church, Saint Cecilia Churchof Ames, First United Methodist Church of Ames, Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Slater,Latter Day Church of Ames, YSS Kids Club of Gilbert, Nevada, and Ballard, Kiwanis of Ames, Lutheran Social Service, and the Izaak Walton League of Ames.
Action Plan
We will continue to strive to offer scouting to all youth k-5th grade in Story County. We will continue to build relations with School Districts that limit our opportunity to invite each child and their family to join Scoutng. We will try to remove all financial, social, and distance obstacles from the path to Scouting for all youth.
