FY2023: CCJ is also tracking an additional performance measure of the percentage of clients successfully completing this condition and not just the number of clients court-ordered to complete this requirement within our Scorecard.  The actual number of clients court-ordered to complete anger management sessions varies from year to year depending on the types of crimes being committed.  (7/18/23, SS)

07/2022: In examining the number of clients court-ordered to Anger Management Sessions versus the number of clients who successfully completed AM Sessions in FY21-22, out of 17 clients who were court-ordered to complete AM Sessions, all 17 of those clients successfully completed the program.  SS

07/2022: As of FY21-22, due to the hiring of a new Executive Director in Oct. 2021, the number of clients who successfully completed court-ordered anger management sessions is understood to mean the number of clients who successfully completed an approved court-ordered Anger Management Program.  SS

FY20-21: Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and quarantine, there were fewer arrests during this period which created fewer clients sentenced to probation. There was also a delay in all court hearings during the quarantine so this created a large time lag for cases to be adjudicated and put on probation during this period.

Numbers may be low for 2019 data...only 6 months of surveys collected for year, one full time PO did not complete their surveys before going on extended leave.

Action Plan

Added Client ID numbers to all surveys...easier to check what surveys have and have not been collected moving into FY 20-21. Will also be able to report a full year of data moving forward.
