Story Behind the Curve
07/22: This number may differ from the number of clients whose cases were closed in the same fiscal year as some surveys may not be completed and tabulated until the following fiscal year. SS
As of FY21-22, due to the hiring of a new Executive Director in Oct. 2021, PO surveys completed at close-out is understood to be defined as the data collection tool that is completed by the probation officer to collect information about as many clients as possible who completed probation supervision. These surveys are completed for an individual client, NOT individual cases. In some situations, a client may have multiple charges/counts resulting in multiple cases. The close-out survey is only completed once per client unless the client is rearrested and sentenced to probation at a different time. (SS, 4/14/22)
This number may be greater than the number of clients whose cases were closed in the same fiscal year because of how the surveys are conducted and tabulated. For example: a client who received services in FY19-20 but did not complete their close-out survey until FY20-21 would show in the FY20-21 survey data. - AM, per a conversation with CD on 9/28/21
FY19-20:This number is total number of surveyed clients from January 1, 2020-June 30, 2020. Collection of Survey data began in January 2020, future years will include the full year of data.

Action Plan
Added Client ID numbers to all surveys...easier to check what surveys have and have not been collected moving into FY 20-21. Will also be able to report a full year of data moving forward.
