Program Summary

Therapuetic Connections is Psychiatric Rehabilitation services for youth with serious behavioral and or emotional disturbances are referred by a licensed professional based on a screening, assessment or ongoing treatment of the youth. The services must be goal directed and outcome focused. The services are time limited interventions provided only as long as they continue to be medically necessary to reduce symptoms of the youth’s behavioral health challenges and to restore the youth to an appropriate level of functioning.

Target Population

Clients enrolled in the program will have a range of mental health challenges as designated by their documented diagnosis and history of treatment. All youth served by Therapeutic Connections must be in need of services to support their healthy functioning in the greater community. In addition to meeting the requirements of “medical necessity” as defined by the Maryland Public Mental Health System (PMHS). Therapuetic Connections serve youth and adults of Howard County, Maryland.
