Drug Overdoses Scorecard was created to track the population and program level indicators and measures for general drug overdoses, prescription drug overdoses, particularly opioid-based drugs, and heroin overdoses. This Scorecard is related to the Poisonings Scorecard, a Healthy CT 2020 priority topic, because it is a subset of the poisonings that occurred in Connecticut. Adverse Exposures to Drugs was included in this Scorecard due to the increased rate of newborns exposed to opioids in-utero.
