Why Is This Important?

Age-friendly communities ensure that all Californians have access to a home and an environment that suits our needs as we age. To make this a reality, California must develop affordable housing options and safe and accessible transportation systems and public spaces, as well as ensure that all residents are included in emergency preparedness and response.
