In 2022, the RAP Foundation launched Juvenile Intervention Request for Proposal(RFP) to support programs that help young people (ages 0-24), particularly those at risk, reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
To ensure meaningful impact, these grants now operate on two-year cycles, providing organizations with sufficient time to implement programs effectively and demonstrate measurable outcomes. Funded organizations support one or more of the following strategies:
1. Increase the number of safe, positive, and inclusive spaces for juveniles to support their social and emotional development.
2. Improve awareness of safe, positive, and inclusive spaces for juveniles to support their social and emotional development.
3. Increase and improve parent/guardian education to help juveniles thrive and gain positive, nurturing relationships.
4. Promote access and support cultural competency of juvenile clients with education of language/stigma/ cultural barriers to service access for youth.
5. Increase and promote healthy lifestyles for juveniles which include: nutrition, fitness, and behavioral health.
By investing in these strategies, RAP Foundation aims to create stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities for youth and families with the ultimate goal of helping juveniles reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
