Rowan County Public Health is pleased to announce the release of the Healthy NC 2030 Scorecard specifically tailored to represent Rowan County. The following plans were included in the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), which serves as a comprehensive guide for long-term and systematic approaches to addressing public health concerns in the area. The Community Health Improvement Plan is based on the findings of the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHA) conducted every three years. The scorecard highlights the ongoing initiatives and focuses on the three primary health concerns.
- Healthy Lifestyles
- Mental Health
- Substance Use
This scorecard is a living document and is not a complete list of all programs or community partners working to address healthy lifestyles, mental health, and substance use in Rowan County. Rowan County Public Health and Healthy Rowan, a community coalition, hope to continue to strengthen community partnerships, programs, and performance measures included. These initial scorecard highlights targeted strategies that are focused on moving the needle on the identified indicators using the Results-Based Accountability (RBA) framework. RBA is a framework and process that focuses on achieving measurable outcomes and improving the performance of programs, organizations, and systems. It provides a structured approach to planning, implementing, and evaluating initiatives to ensure they are effective in producing desired results.
