The Cabarrus Health Alliance employs authorized Environmental Health Specialist to administer and enforce the NC General Statutes and the sanitation rules of the commission of Health Services. Duties of this position are (but not limited to) evaluation of sites for installations of on-site ground absorption wastewater systems; evaluate sites for the location of wells; evaluate existing homes for verification of wastewater and water supply systems; collect water samples for analysis; complete evaluation of alternative system installations; investigates nuisance complaints and on-site wastewater system failures; inspect and monitor mobile home parks to ensure compliance.
