The strategies below are from a cross-sector partnership of organizations. These measures are for FY23 (July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023). Several of these strategies continue into FY24. 

Goal: Increase access to comprehensive, high-quality health care services for NKY residents
Provide health-related education events to the community
Expand the Nurse Advocacy Center for Underserved
Increase culturally competent CHWs
Expand access to oral health services for NKY children
Goal: Promote healthy, safe, and accessible home environments for Northern Kentucky residents
Connect with community partners to address housing for specific vulnerable populations
Provide housing assistance for HIV Case Management clients and their household members
Enhance blood lead surveillance in at-risk populations
Improve linkages of lead-exposed children to recommended services
Expand the radon testing and mitigation program
Develop community-wide and targeted media campaigns and contests for environmental health awareness
Educate and perform corrective actions in the community to reduce lead exposure
Goal: Promote healthy development for Northern Kentucky children and adolescents
Provide injury prevention, health, safety, and nutrition outreach and education to childcare centers
Expand school-based programming
Prevent accidental death in children
Identify and expand partnerships for improving kindergarten readiness
Promote quality childcare
