One of our priorities for Vermont over the next decade through 2030 and beyond is to increase our resilience to environmental hazards and climate change.
Our environment impacts our health in countless ways. Some environmental hazards are known and can be planned for, others are unpredictable with negative impacts possibly increasing in the future. Protecting individuals and improving the safety of the spaces where we live, work, and play is important. And equally important is taking steps to prepare and protect our communities from the broader impacts of climate change and environmental emergencies.
