Welcome to Rockingham County's 2024-2028 Scorecard! The goal of this scorecard is to provide an overview of efforts to identify and improve some of the most challenging health issues in our community. Below you can access our 2023-2024 Community Health Assessment (CHA) for a thorough examination of our county's health trends, gaps, and resources. The CHA process also helped identify Rockingham County's top three health priorities:
MENTAL HEALTH with an emphasis on SUBSTANCE MISUSE
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY & NUTRITION with an emphasis on FOOD ACCESS
SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH with an emphasis on EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
For each of these priorities, the scorecard demonstrates a connection to Healthy North Carolina 2030 (HNC 2030) indicators and displays data related to local efforts to address key concerns. Finally, at the bottom of the page, there are links to the State of the County Health (SOTCH) reports that are prepared each year until our 2027 CHA is available.
