The strategies below are from a cross-sector partnership of organizations. These measures are for FY25 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025).
Goal: Reduce misuse of drugs and alcohol for Northern Kentucky residents
Expand the naloxone training and distribution program
Expand distribution of harm reduction supplies
Provide HIV and Hep C testing
Provide technical assistance to existing alcohol and substance use and prevention workgroups
Expand the behavioral health workforce, including paraprofessionals, in NKY for substance misuse
Promote mental health and substance use prevention through education and outreach
Goal: Improve mental health for Northern Kentucky residents
Improve access to and awareness of behavioral health services
Increase minority student enrollment and graduation from behavioral health disciplines
