Why Is This Important?

Mental health and access to treatment services are often overlooked in our health care system.  One indicator of mental health outcomes – suicide – has been on the rise for years (HNC2030 p.90). Our Community Health Assessment also showed that Lee County residents are interested in learning more about mental health and having resources available (CHA p.44, p.59-59, p.92)
