Second Steps is a universal, classroom-based, social-emotional learning curriculum for Kindergarten–Grade 5 that nurtures children’s social-emotional competence and foundational learning skills.

Second Step serves children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade.

The objective of the Second Step program is for students to be able to increase confidence, make better decisions, set goals and to be more successful in school and their community. The program focuses on skills for learning, empathy, emotion management and problem solving.
